Windy Lighthouse Studios is led by award-winning Australian filmmaker Dominic Allen, whose work spans narrative cinema, feature documentary, immersive VR and commercial production. From The Cat Empire in Havana to Rwanda's Grey Matter at Tribeca, from offshore wind across thirteen countries to the Antarctic with Lewis Pugh, the through-line is visually distinctive storytelling about culture, place and planetary systems, with an international reach.
The studio's environmental slate includes Planet Sun and Frozen Waters, alongside Planet Wind, a Syk Flyk Productions feature co-produced by Windy Lighthouse Studios, created and hosted by Andy Evans. With ReddogsVR it produced the First Nations VR works Carriberrie and Marrga. It is in production as co-producers on Karl and developing Spray and The Black Line.
Dominic Allen, Founder & Creative Director

Margarita Decoster is Producer and Chief Financial Officer at Windy Lighthouse Studios. With a background in business economics and more than a decade across FMCG, nonprofit, film production and immersive technology, she leads the financial and operational engine of the studio: budgeting and financial oversight, production financing and cash flow, reporting to partners and funders, and the operational strategy that keeps a multi-project slate moving.
She combines project and operations management with stakeholder engagement, developing the workflows and systems that bring work in on time, on budget and with purpose, from global documentaries to high-impact VR training programs. Having lived and worked around the world, she manages global partners and cross-functional teams with a genuinely international outlook.
