Lewis Pugh, the polar oceans, and the limits of body and planet.
Where the body and the planet meet their limits.
Frozen Waters is a cinematic environmental documentary following internationally renowned endurance swimmer and ocean advocate Lewis Pugh through some of the world's most extreme and fragile polar environments.
Directed by Anastasia Fetisov and produced by Dominic Allen, the film chronicles Pugh's Antarctic ice swims and environmental advocacy campaigns, connecting the physical limits of the human body with the accelerating collapse of polar ecosystems.
Post-produced by Windy Lighthouse Studios, Frozen Waters forms part of Dominic Allen's broader slate of internationally oriented environmental documentaries, combining cinematic storytelling with urgent themes of climate change, ocean protection and planetary survival.
The film has achieved festival recognition and environmental-screening momentum, including Best Documentary at My Name Is Climate, Honourable Mention at Mirada Corta, a Best Film nomination at Future World Film Festival, and selections at Outer Banks Environmental Film Festival and Greenpoint Film Festival.
